Januszs Homepage

This is my first version of an English verion of my homepage, so excuse me all mistakes. I do not have much time, but I thought that it would be nice to have readable for most of people homepage (written not olny in Polish)...
My name is Janusz and I come from Poland. I study computer science at Silesian Polytechnics in Gliwice (south Poland). I am participating in this great, sometimes wired, spectacle (I am talking about life) since April 1977 so my zodiac sign is: bull. I don't believe in horoscopes... They are either true nor not true :-), I don't know what I have chosen computer science... Propably because of Commodore 64 :-) I got it when I was in primary school. It was incredible! I was very excited... I was playing and playing games, then I began to write computer programs. It was very fun. This was really surprising computer. You could get from it even more than designers thought it was possible :-) My next computer was an Amiga 500. It was also great machine! And next I was made to buy PC (because of my studies). Ok, no more about computers...

I like nature, mountain hikes (especially high mountains), Mazury (it is beutiful region of Poland) and cycling my bike through pretty, silent woods or villages... That is my official photo I also like to take pictures so I usually have an camera with me. It is old, good Russian manual camera :-) If you would like to see a sample of my photos, click here (WARNING: it is about 450kb). I like animals too. I mean I like to watch them, I have got very big photo collection of them. I don't have living one. As I have said: I don't have enough time. Sometimes I can not take care about myself ( e.g. I forget to buy bread :-) and then I am hungry for an half of a day)... I am also interested in stereograms (SIRDS and stereo-photos). I find it shocking when you see three dimensions on flat sheet of paper (or monitor screen). I listen to many kinds of music : Celine Dion, Eric Clapton, Dire Straits, Roxette, Phill Collins, Vangelis, Queen, Varius Manx, Bajm (the last two are Polish bands) I also like classical music: Strauss, Tschaykowsky, Gershwin, Bernstein, and for contrast: R.E.M., Green Day, Off Spring)- But I prefer the softer one...
